About the Founder
Burning Crow Pictures was formed by Justin Demeere in July of 2009. Justin was working as a network support engineer when the company he worked for closed its Knoxville doors during the economic meltdown. It was then that he decided to pursue a career as a filmmaker at any cost despite the odds of failure against him. With close to 20 short films under his belt he is determined to start his first feature in 2010. His mission is absurd but that is why he likes it.
Justin’s heart is in horror and science fiction but that doesn’t stop him from exploring other genres. His latest short AOTEAROA was something completely different than his usual other worldly stories. The art of film can never be understood unless all aspects of the craft are explored and that goes for story too.
